Strainers

For over 30 years, PBE has been selling the most extensive line of pipeline strainers in the Mid Atlantic region. Our flagship strainer line, Eaton (formerly Hayward) has the widest range of manual and automatic strainers in the market. Eaton’s manual strainers are used in industrial applications to protect their process piping equipment by removing debris and particulate from fluid flowing through the pipelines. Eaton products include simplex strainers, duplex strainers, Y strainers, and Tee type strainers.

Simplex strainers are used when the line can be shut down for a short time to clean or change the strainer basket. Duplex strainers operate continuously and never needs to be shut down for cleaning. A diverter plug in the strainer body allows flow to pass through either the left or right basket. When one basket is full, the flow shifts to the other basket.

Strainer sizes range from 1/4″ all the way up to 48″.
